System Summary
IST’s Conveyor Control Application (ICCA) is a flexible, self contained sortation and data collection application that serves as a middleware between conveyor controls – Programmable Logics Controller (PLC), Warehouse Management System, and ERP Systems such as SAP.
ICCA captures the input data via scanner(s) or manual input. The system will then validate the data (SKU, serial info, etc.) and log it to a database. It then determines the correct routing instructions based on predetermined criteria (inventory type, etc.) and sends the assignment to the PLC for routing. ICCA also logs routing instructions to the DB for archiving and possible troubleshooting if needed. The appropriate messages are then sent to the related systems (WMS, ERP, etc.) for updating inventory counts.
Through web reporting, the users will have acecss to view a variety of customized reports for data maintenance, daily counts, view units in route, etc.
ICCA is built in modules and only the additional functionality needed is supplied. This ensures you are only purchasing the functionality required, eliminating the cost of unwanted features and modules.
